I always wanted to be a world champion…

I was the least likely to succeed, if it depended on wealth, where I came from, coming from a broken home, and my parents were not christians. The odds were stacked against me. But, I had hope, because I was picked up by a Sunday School bus and encountered Jesus.

I began my relationship with Jesus at an early age. Served and traveled with ministry leaders and became strong in my faith, knew my identity in Christ, and pressed toward the mark for the prize. I played basketball and softball and then happened to join a boxing contest on a dare. I knocked the girl out in 30 seconds and the rest is History.

I was undefeated in amateur boxing and kickboxing, Was in the Top Ten in the World in Women’s Boxing, Fought and traveled with Chuck Norris’ WCL (Full contact Kickboxing) team, 2 Time Sport Jujitsu World Champion (MMA) First Title in Sao Paulo, Brazil, 3rd Degree Black Belt in Jujitsu, Self Defense Trainer / ISSA Certified Trainer.

Over the past decade, Angie served as a Children’s Pastor at Regional Church of God in West Virginia, and also spent almost two years as Children’s Pastor with the COG in North Georgia. The last two years she served at Metro World Child, as an inner city missionary and Division Leader of the Bronx. This ministry reaches over 300,000 children weekly through its worldwide outreach ministering to children, families, and boys and girls on the streets of New York in what is called Sidewalk Sunday School.

I always wanted to be a World Champion, but God’s Vision was : I always wanted you to be a Champion of The World. That’s what happens when His dreams become your dreams and your dreams collide. When I fully gave HIM everything and laid it all down at the altar, that’s when the trajectory of my dreams and visions were on a head on collision course with The Almighty God. I remember saying, I will go where you want me to go. I will do what you want me to do and I will be the person you created me to be. Here I am, Lord Send Me. …whatever it looks like, whatever it sounds like, and whatever it smells like – I am yours. My borders began expanding and my heart for going to the last, the least, and the lost and to ALL nations began to burn, compelling me to sell it all to take the steps of faith to Follow HIM.
